Sweet chestnut tree The tree is over mature and was historically pollarded, unfortunately the unions of the re-growth are compromised with decay and the added weight of the Ivy has caused a large limb to tear out. I am concerned the remaining limbs will also fail and due to the proximity of the tree it is in reaching distance of the surrounding buildings. I strongley advise to fell tree to ground level and grind stump to below ground level

Due to proximity, advice the tree is dismantled to ground level and the stump is to be treated to deter regeneration; Plum trees x 6 overgrown and growing on/over property causing damage.
