This is a retrospective planning application against previously approved planning application number EPF/1724/12 to change the height of the metal grill gate from 1.8 meter to 2.6 meters. On 10/09/2012 we put the gate posts up and then realised planning approval would be required for the gate. We stopped work and applied for planning approval, which was granted. This approval was for a gate up to 1.8 meters in height. The gate that was built and finished on 30th November 2012 was actually 2.6 meters high. I apologise i have no idea why the builder decided to do this. Please see attached picture of the current gate for which we seek planning approval.
